Iona is an English actress, model, radio broadcaster and comedian.

She has had a number of small roles in film and TV and also has experience working as a ‘runner’ for film companies like Working Title. Iona completed acting courses at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and the Oxford School of Drama before achieving a First Class BA Hons Degree at East 15 Acting School.

After Iona attended the prestigious clown school Ecole Philippe Gaulier she started dabbling in stand up comedy alongside prestigious headliners such as Geoff Norcott and Omid Djalili. After three gigs she was signed by Mirth Control and a month later was a finalist in the Bath festival New Act Competition.

Iona has a wealth of experience in the arts industry, from modelling to performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. More recently she has become the regular presenter for ‘An Audience With Rusty Egan’ - which plans to tour next year.

Her career in radio started in London in 2015 and she is now a Senior Broadcast Journalist for Global - reading the news for Capital FM and Heart FM. She has a vast repertoire of interviewees from Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson and actor Nathaniel Parker.

She lives on the Isle of Wight but lived in London, where she still frequents.
